Event Information:
The Adelaide Plains Cup Festival will officially be opened at the
Dublin Institute on Friday morning with a gourmet breakfast. The
launch will also incorporate the announcement of the Adelaide Plains
EMU Award winners. The Adelaide Plains EMU Awards are supported
by The Plains Producer and Churches of Christ Life Care and aim
to recognise those individuals, organisations/community groups,
and businesses that have stuck their neck out and had a go! This
year Churches of Christ Life Care will be providing the overall
winner with $600 prize money.

Event Information: “The Friends
of the last Supper” Art, Wine and Gourmet Dinner revolve around
the unique art work “Last Supper” painted by well known
artist Marek Herburt. Held in the newly restored Hummocks Station
Function Centre.
During the 3 course meal, there will be “behind the scenes
stories” of his work from the cast of the painting. All art
work on display is for sale on the evening. With many of the artists
present, there will be opportunities to discuss your favourite selection!

Lynda Pederson moved her beadwork collection to Balaklava in 2006,
the Bead Fair followed! She had previously co-ordinated four similar
annual events in Adelaide and it was a refreshing change to bring
beadwork artisans and suppliers to the rural community. With over
20 stalls and free entry, the event was very popular in 2007.

the new branding to the community. The night will include a free

A journey of courage and determination settler families took on
life with the building of Churches, schools, halls and transport
services. A comprehensive photographic displays. The Old Flour Mill
is a feature of the museum a three story structure of local stone
and bricks. Built in 1878 it is an enduring illustration of the
stonemason skills.
